Why make "beveled" attic cabinets to order when there is an option that comes out cheaper! Made myself (my photos)

To be honest, I regret a little that I made the attic floor...

Now there is a real lack of an attic space as an additional storage space - all boxes, clothes and other bulky I store things in a shed that is not rubber, and sometimes it takes a very long time to get to the right thing among all heaps...

The height of the walls of the attic floor is 1.3 meters before the start of the bevel, which is also large omission, I continue to fill the bumps on my head even after a year and a half of living in the house - in no way I'll get used to it :-)

Well, okay with the minuses, I’ll move on to the repair and arrangement of this floor ...

In the attic we have two rooms (children's) and a separate bathroom. My wife and I thought for a very long time how best to beat and where it is better to arrange furniture for storing clothes, bedside tables, beds, desks. As a result, the most successful layouts turned out to be those in which wardrobes would stand along short walls! There was no way to displace them and put them on long walls.

It is logical that the question arises: how to put a two-meter cabinet to a wall 1.3 m high?

The way out was to buy furniture to order, I would have made a built-in wardrobe, cutting it down at any angle. For two rooms, such cabinets cost me 43,800 rubles without compartment doors! And this is normal, because an individual project is always expensive. But, we found a solution that cost us almost half the price.

We spent 24,700 rubles modifying IKEA cabinets, my friends did the same, but bought ordinary factory assembled cabinets, those that are sold in ordinary furniture stores ...

And, the angle for the bevel of the ceiling is already done independently with the help of a circular saw, a jigsaw and a tape measure...

The cut can be made both disassembled and already assembled, the main thing is to measure it 7 times first :-))) I bought two cabinets of different widths, one meter for hangers, the second 50 cm for shelves:

This is how "built-in" furniture turns out, only it is built in by hand:

I spent one day on everything about everything and I think that this is a great option so as not to overpay for furniture on an individual project. For me, it’s better to take the usual factory version, modifying it a bit, especially since the market now offers a huge number of models for every taste and budget!

By the way, the cabinet turned out without a top cover and I successfully entered it, closing the side part to the wall:

The connection to the ceiling turned out to be perfect, but if you missed the corner or the saw moved off the sawing line, you can always close this place with a decorative strip or plinth.

They didn’t install sliding doors, the daughter wanted several curtains that move in the same plane along rails with the possibility of completely closing both the bed and the cabinets.

By the way, so that the cabinet does not shake, I fixed it to the sloping ceiling, now it stands rooted to the spot. In my son's room, everything is the same, only in a mirrored form and in a dark color ...

The height of the structure is 1.80 m, the depth is 1.2 m, and just at the wall behind the shelves there is a lot of space to place any boxes and seasonal items.

And that's all, I hope this information is useful to you!
