OSRAM lamps came to my test, on the front side of which the "marketing power" is indicated, which, apparently, depends on the state of the market and the mood of the marketer.
On OSRAM LED VALUE lamps, all wattages are indicated with small stars.
The funniest thing is on the back of the box. Noticed?
The lamps have TWO powers, for example, the first one has 20 W and 16 W.
Seeing this, I was surprised and began to twist the box with the lamp in my hands in search of deciphering the numerous stars.
On the side there was a footnote with four asterisks, saying that for the Republic of Belarus the equivalent the power of an incandescent lamp is not 150 W and 100 W, as it is written in large numbers on the front of the box, but 104 and 69 W.
The decoding of three stars, revealing the secret of two powers, was not easy to find. She was inside the box on one of the lower valves. It turns out that the power indicated on the front of the box and in the first line of the table is marketing, and the nominal power is the second in the table.
"- A Th, so it was possible?" chorus asked all the other manufacturers. :)
The test results of these lamps can be viewed on Lamptest: conventional Osram lamps with linear driver. All characteristics correspond to the declared ones, the measured power, of course, corresponds to the nominal one (the one that is written in the second line on the back of the box).
Yeees. For the sixth year I have been testing light bulbs and it is difficult to surprise me, but "marketing power" is, of course, a masterpiece.
