Hello dear friends and guests of the channel!
I hasten to share with you a very attractive and simple craft for the home, which will not only please the eye, but also turn out to be quite useful.
For the manufacture we needed:
- Bath mat boo;
- Knife, scissors, hot glue, ruler, marker;
- Small plastic bucket;
- Acrylic paints (construction);
- Spray lacquer in a can.
Let's start right away!
Step 1.
The rug was cut into strips - it couldn't be easier!
Step 2
The handle was removed from the plastic bucket and the top rim was cut off.
Step 3
Long strips from the rug were cut to the height of the bucket with a margin.
Step 4
The bucket was marked around the circumference with a marker every 1.5 cm.
Step 5
Strips were glued according to the marks, there should be an odd number of them.
Step 6
A strip was glued along the upper edge of the bucket to hide the ends of the longitudinal strips.
Step 7
Now we glue the longitudinal strips and weave them into the transverse ones.
Step 8
We cut off the excess.
Step 9
We still cut the strips along and weave a pigtail out of them.
Glue the pigtail to the bottom of the bucket in a circle.
Step 10
First, paint everything with dark brown acrylic paint and dry.
Then we go through a semi-dry sponge with light brown paint.
Step 11
We cover with varnish from a spray can.
Step 12
Balls were glued to the bottom - these will be the legs.
Here is such a wonderful planter turned out:
