Greetings, dear friends!
I want to show you how I made an exclusive vase for the house out of a glass bottle and putty. I did this craft a few years ago, but it still stands on the windowsill with a branch of sakura.
Here are the materials I used:
- glass bottle;
- Gypsum building putty for finishing work;
- A piece of floral mesh;
- Ordinary hair dryer;
- A piece of sandpaper;
- Acrylic paints and acrylic varnish.
These wide-mouthed bottles are often used to sell wine or juices. Floral netting can be purchased at a flower shop. Well, putty and paint and varnish in a hardware store.
Step 1.
First, I removed all the stickers from the bottle and washed it with dishwashing detergent, wiped it thoroughly. I primed the bottle with white acrylic paint using a piece of sponge.
It is necessary to primer so that the putty is better kept on the bottle. Even for a fortress, you can pour a little PVA glue into the putty.
I left the bottle to dry for several hours.
Step 2
I attached a floristic mesh to the bottle and applied putty through it. The mesh was removed immediately after applying the putty.
Putty turns out to be applied to a small area of the bottle, it will not work all at once.
Dry the putty area with a hair dryer so that you can touch it with your hands. Then, in the same way, I applied putty further, periodically drying the areas with a hairdryer.
The neck of the bottle was smeared with putty with a straight finger.
I left the putty to dry for a few hours.
Step 3
When the putty had dried well, I sanded it lightly with sandpaper.
Step 4
I painted everything first with black acrylic paint.
Then, with a semi-dry brush, he applied white paint and bronze.
Step 5
Finished with acrylic varnish.
This is such a wonderful vase.
And this is for the most educated.
