I already wrote an article that can be made useful from an old umbrella, or rather from fabric from it. At the end of the article I will give a link to the publication. The readers liked the article very much and today I want to offer you 3 ideas of what can be made from an old, boring sweater.
Surely you have a sweater lying around that has already stretched or lost its appearance. Which I don’t want to put on at all, but throw it away, it seems, it’s a pity. It's time to give the sweater a second life!
To implement 3 ideas, we used:
- Old knitted sweater;
- Scissors, iron, remnant, ruler, sewing meter;
- Threads, needles;
- Dublerin;
- lining fabric;
- corsage tape;
- Several large buttons;
- lightning;
- Insoles.
3 ideas are completely different. From more complex to very simple.
First idea, bag.
Step 1.
Cut off the main part from the sweater.
Step 2
We turn out the cut off part and glue the dublerin with the help of an iron.
Step 3
We draw a line and sew it with our hands or on a sewing machine.
After that, we sew the corners and cut off the excess.
This is how we did it.
Step 4
We cut the corsage tape of the desired length and sew it to the bag.
Step 5
Large buttons were used for decoration.
Step 6
The inside of the bag with pockets was sewn from the lining fabric.
Step 7
We place the lining inside and sew it together with the zipper.
The sweater bag is ready!
The second idea, golfs for the house.
Step 1.
Cut off the sleeves from the same sweater.
Step 2
We turn them inside out and in the place where the shoulder was, we sew the insoles. We sew on a typewriter and turn it out.
Everything, warm golfs for the house are ready!
The third idea, a warmer for a mug.
Step 1.
From the rest of the sweater, cut off a piece of the desired size.
Step 2
Sew on a couple of buttons and make loops for them.
Step 3
As a decor, a flower was sewn from a satin ribbon.
The mug warmer is ready, you can use it. It is easily removed from the mug.
