Last year we made a very beautiful piece of polypropylene twine for the garden. These are fluffy flowers that look like real ones. And making them is easy and simple!
Here's what you need:
- Leg-split;
- soft wire;
- Cardboard;
- Tape tape;
- Large needle;
- Hot glue.
Twine can buy on Market. And thin, soft wire too can buy there. Their prices are not expensive.
Step 1.
We wind 20-25 turns of twine on cardboard. We have cardboard 17 cm long, and the width does not matter.
Step 2
After we remove the twine from the cardboard and, approximately, in the middle we tie it with wire. We leave the end of the wire at 35-40 cm.
Step 3
Now you need to cut the skein of twine along the edges.
Step 4
Using just such a large needle, we begin, as it were, to “comb” the twine, cutting it into thinner fibers.
This is how the fluff turns out in the end.
Step 5
We tie it with wire again creating a bud and tighten it tightly with pliers.
Step 6
We trim the flower with scissors, trying to create a ball.
Step 7
And at the end we wrap the teip with tape. By the way, it can also buy on the Market.
Such lovely flowers for the garden turned out!
These flowers are not afraid of water, they can withstand the direct rays of the sun for a long time. If they get wet and dirty after rain, they can be rinsed under running water, shaken well and they will be like new.
