From witnesses to accused - the situation is not so ordinary for any criminal proceedings. But sometimes, in order to change the bench in the courtroom, it is enough to give the wrong answer to a specific question asked by the investigator. There are several categories of such “specific” questions from law enforcement officers, which it is better not to answer without prior preparation.
1. Questions not relevant
A citizen has every right to answer questions not related to the case and not related to the case. For example, a question like “How do you live on a small patch?” has nothing to do with the case in the vast majority of cases. You can directly point to this by asking a counter question about what the investigator is getting at.
2. Questions are incomprehensible
The investigator's questions must be specific and unambiguous, not requiring any interpretation. Lengthy questions asked for no reason at all in the spirit: “Do you know anything else?” or “So what happened next?” do not require a response.
3. Questions about the lawyer
If the investigator asks about a lawyer, then most likely the person has serious problems and is suspected of something. Or in any case, the investigation has sufficient grounds to suspect a person. Therefore, do not ignore the opportunity to take a defender.

4. Questions-threats
Some not very conscientious investigators can directly scare you with questions in the spirit of: “Turn to confess or to the cell?” If a such questions are heard, then most likely the investigator is bluffing and he does not have enough materials to accuse citizen. If they were, then this question would not be required.
5. Leading questions
Another category of questions that is considered absolutely unacceptable by law. For example, the investigator does not have the right to put the question like this: “What did the suspect do at 12:00?” The question must legally look like this: “Did you see the suspect that day?”.
