Suitable cultivation times
Seeds are sown for the first time for seedlings from about March 10-15. As a result, by the end of June, the culture begins to bear fruit. For the second time, the seed material is sown for seedlings in early May, and the ripening of tomatoes continues until September 10-15.
Features of cultivation
Growing this plant is practically no different from the usual methods characteristic of tomato crops. The only difference is the re-sowing of seeds in the season.
Growing seedlings
This process is carried out as follows:
- A substrate is prepared from peat and humus in a ratio of 2: 1.
- Seeds are kept in a growth stimulator for six hours, then dried and placed in a refrigerator for 24 hours.
- The containers are filled with the prepared substrate.
- Seeds are sown, watered, covered with a mixture, covered with a film, planted in a lighted place.
- As soon as the seedlings hatch, the shelter is removed and complex fertilizer is added to the soil.
- If seedlings are grown in boxes, then when three leaves appear, they dive.
- About two weeks before planting, the sprouts are hardened by taking them outside.
Soil preparation
Landing site should be sunny. It is impossible to plant tomatoes on the beds where they grew before: potatoes, eggplants, peppers, physalis.
The soil is prepared in the fall, mullein or chicken manure (6 kg / 1 sq. m). In the spring, it is advisable to add to the soil by 1 sq. m. phosphorus (40 g), nitrogen (30 g) and potash (30 g) fertilizers.
Technology of planting seedlings
Anyuta's tomato bushes are compact, therefore, per 1 sq. m. You can plant 6-7 plants. The soil must be warm.
plant care
The culture needs proper watering and feeding.
Watering and fertilizing
The first watering is carried out two days after landing on an open bed. The settled water is poured under the bush, without falling on the leaves.
After about 10 days, they are fed with organic matter in the form of mullein. Dilute it in water in accordance with 1: 9 and add superphosphate (25 g. on a bucket). Then two more top dressings are carried out with an interval of 2 weeks with complex fertilizers applied when planting seedlings.
Loosening and weeding
Weeding is combined with loosening, the procedure is carried out every 14 days. It is also necessary to hill the bushes.
Diseases and parasites
As a preventive measure, crops are sprayed with a solution of copper sulfate.
When the bushes are affected by phytophthora, they are treated with Bordeaux liquid or the Barrier or Fitosporin preparations are used.
They are saved from pest invasions with the help of such means as: Karbofos, Fitoverm, Prestige.
Anyuta tomatoes are loved by many vegetable growers for their early ripening, resistance to major diseases, the ability to produce crops twice a season and high taste properties.
