1. F-82 Twin Mustang
One of the weirdest planes in human history. The combat vehicle was developed by the American company North American based on the P-51 Mustang aircraft. A two-seat aircraft was created to escort long-range bombers. One pilot was subjected to heavy loads in long-range raids, and therefore a machine was needed that would allow the use of a crew of two in a fighter. In World War II, the F-82 did not have time to take part. Instead of an initial order of 500 vehicles, almost half as many were built. Fight "Twin Mustang" could only in Korea.
2. BN-2T AEW Defender
This military aircraft with a very strange nose was developed on the basis of the civilian model BN-2T Islander as part of the ASTOR program. 4. Saab 35 Draken
At first glance, this Swedish fighter jet makes you want to ask what sci-fi movie it escaped from? Despite the outward resemblance to a kite, the Draken is quite a serial machine.
