If we are talking about a private house, there are no problems, you can safely make a shower ladder. In city apartments, the strictest taboo is imposed on such a decision.
Let's see why shower drains are prohibited and is it possible to somehow make them in an apartment in a legal way?
What is a shower drain for?
It is used if you want to leave more free space in the bathroom. If we consider this solution from the point of view of aesthetics, then the shower drain is universal. It sort of replaces the shower stall. By the way, cabins often do not meet expectations: they do not fit the dimensions of the bathroom, lose their attractive appearance over time, etc.
Shower ladders are made in the form of a construction cabin, constructing a podium, or they are mounted in a screed. The Residential Inspectorate does not approve of any of these options.

- 2. Frame or podium with special hatches that allow you to get close to communications.
