How to insulate a house made of gas blocks and bricks cheaply, but with high quality? We produce high-quality thermal panels with our own hands. Composition and proportions

Today, aerated concrete occupies the first place in popularity among building materials. From it, houses of varying complexity and configuration have long been erected. I will not reveal secrets, saying that in the last year the cost of building materials has increased several times. And although aerated concrete has also risen in price, building houses from it is cheaper than building frame buildings. This is what determines its popularity.

How to insulate a house made of gas blocks and bricks cheaply, but with high quality? We produce high-quality thermal panels with our own hands. Composition and proportions

ToLike any cheap material, aerated concrete has significant drawbacks, to which many turn a blind eye. First of all, it is very difficult to heat a house from gas blocks. And if you live in the northern regions of our vast, then the heating bills will be simply huge.

How to increase the thermal efficiency of aerated concrete walls? To do this, you can build them in several layers, only the cost of this method is very high. Therefore, people are used to insulating their homes using mineral wool or polystyrene foam for this purpose.

Unfortunately, the rise in price also affected heaters. I also note that both cotton wool and polystyrene foam must be protected from negative influences. For example, cotton wool deteriorates with high humidity and dampness. And polystyrene foam does not tolerate direct sunlight, does not have moisture permeability.

I will share with you a little known but very effective method. If there are professional builders in your environment, you can consult with them. They will surely confirm that sawdust concrete insulation is a great option. It is sold in the form of blocks or panels.

In order to save money, I suggest making this heater with your own hands. Believe me, the material will be durable, reliable and effective.

In our country, low-rise buildings are often insulated with sawdust concrete. In this case, the composition of the material is modified using wood chips instead of sawdust. The output is chipped concrete. Another popular name for it is wood concrete. Chips in the material play the role of reinforcement, giving it rigidity. To make the blocks thinner and lighter, sawdust is added to the composition. The good thing is that getting them is not difficult.

One of the main advantages of sawdust is good thermal insulation. Chips and chips by this criterion lose significantly.

For self-production of thermal panels, we need sand, lime, cement and the main ingredient sawdust. As you can see, the list of components is rather sparse. There are sawdust in the panels, which will retain heat. Thanks to cement, the panels are durable, and lime will protect them from pests.

The number of ingredients is:

  • 10% cement,
  • 7% sand
  • 3% lime,
  • and everything else, i.e. about 80% - sawdust.

If you follow the indicated proportions, you will get a wonderful and reliable insulation. Plus, sawdust concrete will save the walls from negative factors such as mechanical damage, weather conditions, etc. To make the insulation look prettier, it is plastered.
