Xiaomi's sports accessories partner Huami has finally released the long-awaited Arc fitness tracker. The new product is already available for purchase in our store, and can become a very attractive universal device that can compete with the popular Xiaomi Mi Band 2.
The bracelet has a standard layout: a sealed capsule on an ergonomic polymer bracelet. The latter is not removable. But much more interesting than most of those for the Mi Band - the Huami Arc is outwardly closer to a classic, albeit a little futuristic, watch.
Like all similar gadgets, Huami Arc received dust and moisture protection according to the IP67 standard: you can dive, swim and shower with it without fear of spoiling it.
Hidden inside the case is a dual heart rate monitor with the ability to constantly monitor heart rate, and an accelerometer for counting steps and distance, which are then converted into calories burned.
The bracelet itself can display on the display the number of steps, distance traveled, and pulse. When connected to a smartphone, this adds the ability to display incoming calls and messages.
Huami Arc is suitable for both men's and women's hands. An additional pleasant point is that in the inactive state the display does not light up, which allows, on the one hand, achieve an effective operating time of 11 days on a single charge, and on the other hand, get a glossy, stylish appearance.
Unlike its main competitor, Arc has the precision of a professional device. This is largely helped by the proprietary Amazfit application, which is used to synchronize the fitness tracker with a smartphone with an integrated Strava online system.
However, the new product can also work in the standard environment of the proprietary Xiaomi Mi Band application, through which it is synchronized with Google Fit.
