The well-known Russian company Chuwi presented its new Hi9 Air tablet. Contrary to tradition, the name of the device does not reflect the real essence: it is obvious that the screen of the new product should be 9 inches, but we are dealing with a 10.1-inch diagonal.
The main feature of the device is the extremely narrow display frames for an Android tablet. Also among the interesting characteristics is the chosen platform, which is the modern MediaTek Helio X20 - and, accordingly, the tablet runs Android. The most current version, 8.0 Oreo.
In fact, this is the most ambitious Chinese tablet on the market, which is ready to compete with the most advanced Huawei MediaPad M5.
To display information, Chuwi Hi9 Air is equipped with a 10.1-inch screen manufactured by Sharp. Matrix - honest IPS, resolution - QuadHD (2560 × 1600).
The Helio X20 single-chip platform is currently one of the most powerful processors in the mid-segment, so there is no need to worry about power. For comfortable use, the developer equipped the new product with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory.
Autonomy throughout the working day is maintained thanks to an 8000 mAh battery. The tablet also has 2 SIM cards, and with their help you can both receive the Internet at 4G speed and make calls. Other wireless interfaces include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and GLONASS.
Chuwi Hi9 Air is equipped with a 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera. There is OTG support via microUSB, and there is a 3.5 mm audio jack.
It is also impossible not to mention the cost of the new product: Chuwi Hi9 Air will cost the buyer only $220, which makes it both the most powerful and the cheapest representative of its class.
