The “heart” of the updated version of the gadget for car enthusiasts is the energy-efficient, powerful 2-core YI A12 processor. It includes a proprietary DSP processor for recording wide-angle video streams up to 1300p at 30 frames per second or normal up to 1080p at 60 frames per second.
The Xiaomi Yi 1080P Car WiFi DVR matrix is an honest 3 MP, which only a normal camera can boast of, but not a recorder. Increased light sensitivity - the picture will be bright and juicy.
In addition to a successful matrix, wide-angle lens (f/1.8 aperture, 165° viewing angle), as well as a powerful processor, the new product boasts an ADAS driver assistance system. Its functionality includes warning the person driving about approaching traffic - when crossing a lane, and in relation to the vehicle ahead.
The DVR has a wide, bright 2.7-inch screen with 426×240 pixels (every action camera would have the same), and supports high-capacity memory cards up to 64 GB. The recorder does not have its own memory, since in this mode of operation it will instantly fail.
