Xiaomi has presented a long-awaited update to its budget line of devices with a 5″ display.
The new product is available in two versions: standard and Pro version. The key differences between the two models are the chipset used, the amount of RAM and internal memory and display resolution. Redmi 4 is similar in design to its older brother Redmi Note 4 - an all-metal body with rounded edges and 2.5D glass.
The main and front cameras have a resolution of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel, respectively. There is a place for a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. Redmi 4 will be available in two versions - standard and advanced.
In the first case, the hardware basis is an 8-core Snapdragon 430 chipset with a clock frequency of 1.4 GHz and an Adreno 505 video accelerator. The amount of RAM is 2 GB, permanent memory is 16 GB, and the screen resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels.
The performance of the advanced version is ensured by the Snapdragon 625 chip (8 cores, 2 GHz) in conjunction with the Adreno 506 video adapter and 3 GB of RAM. The display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. In both cases, the battery capacity is 4100 mAh. The difference in design is the location of the LED flash (in the standard version it is on the right).
