LED bulbs have started to appear on the Aliexpress, in the description that salesmen point high color rendering index CRI of 90. I tested two such lamps, and what do you think, what's the CRI?
Alex Carmine bought a pair of lamps, and brought them to me on the test.
The first lamp - 12 W 6000 K. The store "B2OCLED Official Store" she It costs $ 2.82 called "LED Bulb E27 3W 5W 7W 9W 12W 15W AC 220V 230V 240V LED Lamp CRI 90 High Quality Warm Light Bulbs High Brightness 3000K 6000K".
In the name of the lot and the description is not repeated again "CRI 90 High Quality", but the luminous flux value is not specified.
Measure. Power consumption 11 W (almost lied), the luminous flux 941 lm (shines almost as a 100-watt incandescent bulb), pulsation is not present, but the CRI of about 84.
This is a common LED lamp, but the market is full of these and they cost half the price. No high CRI, alas, is not revealed.
The second lamp - 20 W 6500K bought in the same store for $ 3.35. It called "Super Bright LED Lamp E27 Light bulbs CRI 90 AC 220V 5W 10W 15W 20W 30W 40W Support lamps led Chandelier Cold White 6500K"
Measure. And here with the power lied thoroughly - just 12.5 watts instead of the promised 20 W and the luminous flux is only slightly greater than that of the first lamps - 989 lumens. CRI still just about 84.
Well, in general, a certain Chinese progress is evident. Earlier on Aliexpress mainly sold lamps with CRI of 70 and below 90 are now writing, but in fact 84. :)
The moral is simple. I still do not recommend to buy LED light bulb on Aliexpress. Exactly the same Russian brands bulbs are cheaper, but still have a warranty of 2-3 years.

Luminous flux, color temperature and color rendering index are measured using and a two-meter integrating sphere spectrometer Instrument Systems CAS 140 CT, Power consumption and power factor of the device Robiton PM-2Pulsation device Uprtek MK350D. Also with this instrument made repeated reference measurement CRI.
