I bought two five-meter coil wire of one manufacturer. Origin - 2h2.5 TU, the second - 2H1.5 GOST. Do you think any of them have a real cross-section of more than? ;)
I have often written about the fact that there was an amazing situation with cables and wires in Russia. There are "Gostovskaya" cables and wires, the cross section of which according to GOST 22483 underestimated by 7-10% (ammo1.livejournal.com/1054644.html)That is, for example, instead of one and a half square millimeter core section made slightly less than 1.4 mm². But this is "flowers".
"Berries" - that's cables and wires "on the other." Their cross-section is sometimes underestimated and half. In May, I studied PUGNPbm wire 2x1.5 Orlovsky cable plant. Its actual cross section turned 0.75 mm² (ammo1.livejournal.com/1043045.html).
Wires that I bought, made in the same factory (I'd love to have checked the products of other manufacturers, but in Leroy Merlin and almost all of the cables in the Oryol Castorama). Origin - "Current Master" PUGNPbm 2h2.5 5m TU and 136 rubles, the second - "GOSTok" PVSn 2h1.5 GOST 5 m per 171 Ruble.
If you compare the "eye", "Tushnov" 2.5 (left) is clearly not thicker "Gostovskaya" 1.5 (right).
Via exact Milliommetr with four-wire connection (ammo1.livejournal.com/933012.html) I measured the resistance of the wires.
Resistance five meters one of the wires PUGNPbm 2h2.5 was 64 milliohms (1 km - 12.8 ohms).
This resistance corresponds to the section of the copper wire 1.33 mm².
Resistance to five meters of one of the wires PVSn 2h1.5 was 65 milliohms (1 km - 13 ohms).
This resistance corresponds to the section of the copper wire 1.31 mm².
By GOST 22483-2012 resistance kilometer flexible copper conductors (Table 7) should be no more than 13.3 ohms to 1.5 mm² and not more than 7.98 ohms to 2.5 mm².
Any 2.5 mm² in this case and does not smell, both wires correspond to the "undervalued" 1.5 mm², although more will measure and section.
Each core PUGNPbm consists of 14 wires.
The diameter of a single wire - 0.35 mm. It also shows a micrometer and digital caliper.
The cross section of a single wire 0.096 mm², respectively, the cross section of the conductor wires 14 - 1.344 mm². The discrepancy between the calculated cross section for the measured resistance was 1%.
Each core PVSn consists of 27 wires.
The diameter of a single wire - 0.25 mm. Due to the fact that the veins are thin and many of them, the wire is much softer.
Cross section 0.049 mm² cross-section of the entire conductor of 27 lived - 1.323 mm². The discrepancy between the calculated cross section for the measured resistance also was 1%.
Wires "Current Master" PUGNPbm 2h2.5 TU and "GOSTok" PVSn 2h1.5 was almost the same - about 1.3 mm².
Manufacturer nowhere indicates that "2x2.5 and 2x1.5" this cross-section, and does not indicate "mm²," so we can assume, that this is only a model of wires, not a real cross-section (although shops boldly written on the price tags and 2x2.5 mm² 2x1.5 mm²).
It is important to understand that the inscription "2x2.5" on the label the wires does not mean that the cross section of 2x2.5 mm² wires. For a wire at such inscription made in accordance with GOST, the cross section is likely to be close to 2x2.3 mm² and "2x2.5" wire section with the inscription made TU may be 2x1.5 mm² or less.
