I do not know why manufacturers impair their products, but it is a fact. This post I'm writing from a laptop, which has USB ports and HDMI connectors and power supply are located at the rear. Yes, it is wildly uncomfortable.
I came in Innopolis on Cipro and there are laptops in the press center. I surprised that the mouse cable goes into the distance. At first I thought that she forgot to connect, but it turned out that this wonderful laptop in front and from the left side there is nothing right - the card reader, audio jack, and one USB 2.0 port.
But the most necessary - power, USB 3.0, one more connector USB 2.0, LAN connector and HDMI output at the rear.
Not only that connect anything to your laptop back very uncomfortable, so more and protruding rear connectors interfere move up the laptop to the wall if necessary.
It called this notebook Acer EX2540 series N16C1.
Last time I saw a laptop with ports back 10 years ago, but, as you see, is not only good returns.
Moral: when choosing a laptop, pay attention to where the connectors. And certainly other notebooks they can suddenly turn back.
