Beneficial if multirate Electric

  • Dec 24, 2019

In the comments to my test consumption of the washing machine (ammo1.livejournal.com/1039182.html) a few people have suggested that multirate accounting of electric power is not profitable.
It is very easy to check.

I installed two-tariff meter. For 14 years he averaged 24,600 kWh day-tariff and 8200 kWh for night tariff.

Now with dual-rate electricity metering in Moscow is 5.03 rubles on the daily rate, and 1.37 rubles for the night for apartments with electric stoves. If you multiply the consumption for all years at current rates will add up and 134982 rubles.

When the single-rate Accounting 1 kWh costs 4.37 rubles. If the meter has been single-rate, he would have counted 24600 + 8200 = 32800 kWh. Multiplied by the tariff and get 143336 rubles, which is 6% more expensive than it turned at the dual-rate accounting. In my case, two-tariff accounting proved beneficial, though not much.

I looked at what the numbers on the counters at the neighbors on the landing:

Apartment 1: 54086/21348 - two-tariff accounting is beneficial not 9%.

Apartment 2: 27772/10650 - two-tariff accounting is also beneficial not 9%.
Apartment 3: 14148/9721 - two-tariff accounting profitable by as much as 23%.

My friend sent me the numbers with trohtarifnogo counter.

1767/1975/2230 - trohtarifny profitable accounting-rate of 22.5%.

If you have a two-tariff counter or trohtarifny check in my method of how profitable it is, one tariff.

I hastily made a calculator Excel'e.

Enter the numbers from his multi-tariff meter circled column in fat cells and get the results for different tariffs. If necessary, will correct tariff for your region.
