April 15, 1999 by Brad Fitzpatrick registered the domain livejournal.com. He could not imagine, what twenty years later become his child. :)
I registered my blog ammo1 in August 2005, but became a real bloggers in 2010 alone.
Since then nine years have radically changed my life: I met a lot of people could not even dream to see somewhere other than the television; I visited the huge number of cities and countries; I had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the technology updates, thanks to invitations to presentations and other events. But most importantly, I was able to benefit a lot of people, sharing with them the useful information and the results of their tests light bulbs, batteries and many other devices.
Course of these nine years, and he LiveJournal and attitude changed dramatically. Stable there is only one: as many as nine years ago, many people said that LJ is dying, and they say the same thing. :)
By the way, Brad came up with LJ, not as a blogplatformu. Initially, the LiveJournal service was personal diaries for those who know each other offline (there and "buddylist"). In Livejournal is still left users perceive your Learn how to blog, and not as the media. But for most, LiveJournal has long been a blogplatformoy and every blog - a little (or not at all small) media.
In January 2005, Fitzpatrick sold LiveJornal, which at that time was already more than seven million users. Now LiveJournal belongs to the Russian company Rambler Group.
Five years ago, Brad Fitzpatrick visited Russia (ammo1.livejournal.com/452324.html) and we took a picture with him in LJ office.
Thanks to LJ, I became a blogger, and this, I believe, one of the most interesting jobs on the ground.
Thank you that I continue to read!
