It all starts with an SMS which is the real name of the victim and the amount for which he sells something on Avito.
When you click on a link the victim is on the site very similar to Avito, where there is a real photograph with Avito (rogues parse real Avito and dragged away from there ad). The victim reported that for the goods received through the payment of "a new service Safe deal".
And then there is a message that money is needed for "the latest version of Avito mobile application to support the new service Safe deal" and offer to install it.
When you click Continue, "New application" is loaded on the smartphone in the form of APK file.

And even written warning that "it is impossible to anyone and will never disclose your username or password of your personal account."
What happens if you install the application, I think is quite clear: it asks you to enter card details and stupid to steal her money under the pretext of replenishment.
Yesterday I contacted the company Avito and asked to comment on the situation. They said that they struggle with this difficult, as the SMS received from anonymous simkarty, while blocking fraudulent site instantly appears new.
Unfortunately, all this is put on stream and fraudulent SMS come almost every seller who advertised with more or less high price. To deal with this in the short term is unlikely to succeed - even if Russia will disappear to obtain anonymous simkarty, crooks will use foreign SMS sending services.
The only recipe to combat fraud - vigilance. Never, under any circumstances, do not click on links from any of the SMS and try to convince it to children, parents, friends and relatives.
