Oh, how time flies... Not so long ago, like, just the snow melted, and the crop is already harvested and the last summer days there were only a memory. Yes, this year's summer was quite moody, but fortunately, the quality of the fruit is not affected - the harvest, I was satisfied, I hope you too.

However, as I would not want to have, finally, relax and unwind from the garden, still have a little more work, since the area in the autumn there is still something to do.

Today I want to talk about the tomato beds, or rather, that why it is important to restore them in the soil after harvest - In this article you will find the main arguments in favor of this procedure, and can also read how every year I look after the beds I tomato.

I think everyone, so it is clear that even the rich and fertile soil is depleted with time, moreover, in a land where "live" tomatoes, there are various pests and spores of fungal diseases. Naturally, such conditions will certainly not contribute to subsequent good harvest, so it is better to "treat" the soil, thus this fall start preparing for next season.

The first step is to take care of the restoration of soil fertility, with, of course, do not forget about improving and most structure of the earth and do not miss the opportunity to clean up the beds from pests and infections - these are the main tasks that we have to solve.

As in this case, do I behave? I start, of course, with the sowing of green manure - a mixture of oats, mustard and wikis spring copes with the task, namely: saturates soil potassium, phosphorus, nitrogen, and also prevents the appearance of weeds thereon and blocks the development of pathogenic infections.

Next - fertilizer, I for one, really like gumatovaya fertilization with microelements - it can be purchased at any specialty store. And in the end, will be a normal green manure incorporation into the soil. That's all.

Such mini-plan, I always follow each fall - the soil in rows always look well-groomed, and growing crops thrive in beds, as evidenced by their generous and bountiful harvest.
