Connection bar for the machines: purpose, design features and connectivity

When installing several AB within the cabinet often have to combine their like terminals on the standard template. Traditionally used for this improvised bridge, made of pieces of copper wire. If you do them all the rules - will be able to get quite a good contact. And yet, this method has disadvantages, which will help get rid of special combs designed in the form of solid copper bars.

What is the rake?

Unlike improvised webs forming the double contact unreliable when connected to terminal AB, branded comb does not have this drawback. It is made as a solid copper plate with an insulator retardant plastic. Moving away from its base single pins or teeth, and deprived of insulation designed to form a reliable contact between the terminals adjacent automata (pictured below).

Form them is L-shaped or U- shaped, and the plate itself, if desired, can be removed from the plastic.

Considered products are available in the following versions:

  • Single-pole (or single).
  • Bipolar.
  • 3 and 4 pole.

Each of these versions should be considered separately.

A first embodiment - is a simple single plate with teeth arranged on the base with a certain pitch. Pole execution represented more complex product, containing two copper isolated one from the other plate with twice the distance between the pins (pictured below).

The pins of one plate are molded so that they are arranged in a line with other teeth. Branded comb with three or four poles are used in rare cases:

Known types of connection bars also differ in the number and shape of the teeth.

According to the second feature, they can have the following performance:

  • In a single pin (PIN).
  • In the form of a fork (FORK).

According to the number of teeth in each of their lines they are divided into products 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 tap-pins arranged on a plate with a pitch of about 1.8 centimeters.
