Small apartment does not have to be self-colored papered with wallpaper without pattern and texture. But in choosing the brightest options there are a few simple rules.
1. Consider the "temperature" of the premises
For rooms with windows on the north should choose warm colors wallpaper - beige, gold, and yellow, and to the south side - cool shades of blue, blue and green.
2. Discard the smooth plain wallpaper
Even if you want to choose a plain wallpaper, choose those that have at least some kind of texture. Absolutely smooth plain surface will make the room visually "sterile", even if they present vivid colors.
3. use invoice
The volume of the room gives the play of light and shadow, so even a barely perceptible texture weave play into the hands. This is good, for example, wallpaper for painting.
4. Add shine
It's not about vinyl wallpaper with glitter of the 1990s. But thin shiny ornaments on frosted plain background will visually increase the room and make it lighter.
5. Do not be afraid of big picture
Choosing between small and large pattern, proceed from how it rich and dense. Sometimes slim flower in a small room looks much worse than a large, but rare patterns.
6. Avoid aggressive ornaments
If more complex geometric pattern and combined with bright saturated color, even a single accent wall with these wallpaper will bring to mind the inhabitants of the apartment.
7. Use a different cloth
Designers are often advised to use wallpaper with stripes to raise the ceiling and expand the room. But sometimes, the same effect can be achieved by using two kinds of wallpaper companion and simply alternate them stripes.
