Autumn - it is not only time to harvest and prepare the garden for winter, but also the time of planting many plants.
This article will focus on the flowers that are best planted before winter, that is, in the period from September to November.
Autumn planting flowers has many advantages:
- Plants become more resistant to cold and temperature changes;
- Wintering allows the colors to better take root and adapt;
- Overwintered plants are the fastest start to growth and development, and therefore before the others will enjoy their flowering.

1. muscari
Muscari - modest, small, but very beautiful flowers. Period of planting falls exactly at the beginning of autumn.
Blue bloom muscari is perfect for decoration of lawns, flower beds and a small seating area. A large number of these colors creates an impressive sight. They should be planted large heap groups.
2. crocuses
Small, neat and very delicate flowers. They should be planted before the cold weather in early September. Also, like muscari, crocuses look best in large groups.
Since the time of flowering crocuses depends on the type, it is best to plant 2-3 grades. This will allow to admire the flowers over a fairly long period of time.
3. daffodils
Daffodils are planted in mid-September, when the soil temperature falls to 8-10 degrees.

Daylilies are not particularly demanding colors, but prefer dry, sunny places.

7. tulips
Tulips are planted in the last week of September - early October. The main criterion - the soil temperature. It should not fall below 8 degrees, but should not be higher than 10.
