All good things come to an end quickly: sultry, bright summer gives way to rainy autumn. During the period of strong leaf fall, a large number of fallen leaves falling into the drain can spoil the mood. If you have tall trees near your house, you probably faced a similar problem.

Leaves in the gutter create a barrier to rainwater. To constantly remove them from there is a thankless task. Therefore, the question arises, how to protect the drainage system from falling leaves into it once and for all?

I want to share with you an elementary but very effective method. We will make protection from a plastic fence mesh.

You need to cut it into small pieces.

Then we form a pipe from each piece. We insert the resulting structure into the tray! Everything! Fallen leaves will no longer clog the drain.

Water will flow through the mesh and leaves will fall down.

I anticipate that many will now write that such a grid will be clogged with wet leaves. Therefore, I want to say in advance that this will not happen, since during the period of leaf fall, the foliage is quite tough even in rainy weather and therefore is blown off by the wind from the roof and drain.
