I will begin my story today with the fact that in a couple or three decades in our great and invincible country, SNT will practically disappear. Some will remain, but their number will be negligible.

In 18 years, 60 - 70% of SNT and suburban areas will disappear in Russia. 4 main reasons

To many, such a statement may seem loud. Indeed, where can garden partnerships go and why should this happen at all? I will try to put everything on the shelves for you.

  • 1. First of all, let's assess who lives in SNT today. To a greater extent, pensioners live in partnerships, the younger generation prefers to come to the dacha only for recreation. Few young people want to tinker in the ground, take care of a garden, etc. But kebabs, gatherings around the fire, fresh air are another matter!

Of course, there are those who dream of living in their own house, and apartments seem to them soulless, stone boxes. But such lovers of clean ecology, buy themselves housing in individual housing construction, because they have gas, electricity, sewage, there is a road connection. In SNT, these benefits of civilization, as a rule, are absent.

  • 2. In the modern world, it is accepted that "every man for himself." Previously, Soviet people acted jointly, as they say "in a common impulse." The real reality is somewhat different, people become individual farmers. This fact affects the existence of SNT in a negative way, because partnerships need to be monitored and equipped.
  • 3. Have you noticed that there are practically no new partnerships being created recently? Earlier, workers received land from enterprises, and the modern state prefers to allocate territory for the construction of cottages. People began to value comfort more and few people today would agree to live in a village without amenities and civilization.
  • 4. Many SNT nowadays fall under demolition, as cities need to expand, build up the land with new buildings and highways.

Summing up, I assume that after about 15 years, garden partnerships will begin to die, and then disappear altogether.
