But first impressions are often deceiving! What can disturb your old idyll and how to deal with it?
For example, the street on which the plot was purchased is completely built up. People here live in their usual rhythm. But then new neighbors appeared! And the life of the old-timers has changed dramatically.
The "newcomers" launched an active activity on the purchased plot: they caught up with equipment, hired workers, and began to demolish old buildings.
What mistakes can you make by drawing on yourself the anger and hatred of your new neighbors?
1. Organize a landfill. Even if you pick up construction waste on your own site, this violates existing sanitary standards. If you store garbage behind a fence and do not take it out for a long time, the neighbors may well complain to the administration.
Some people mistakenly believe that the area behind the fence is also their private property. But a fence is a fence to limit the territory.
2. Another common mistake is lifting the site. If the old building on the site goes too deep into the ground, this may not suit the new owners.
As a result, they order several trucks with soil to bring the zero point almost to the ceiling of the first floor of neighboring houses.
In case of heavy rain, neighbors' areas will be flooded, and water may even penetrate into houses. To avoid this, the first step is to check all drainage ditches. If the new owner of the site fell asleep on their own, a complaint should be made on this matter.
If you refuse to correct the problem, you can call a special service that will analyze the situation, draw up an act or a conclusion for further appeal to the court. If it is possible to prove that other houses are affected by the rise in the level of the nearby plot, the new neighbor will have no choice but to fix the problem.
In any case, it is better to maintain friendly relations with neighbors. In some cases, only they can really help.
