Sauna from chopped logs 6 * 3 meters

The bathhouse consists of two rooms - a cold dressing room (the walls are made of inch planks) and a log steam room. The foundation strip was supported by bored piles 1.5 meters long. On the territory of the steam room, under the boardwalk, an inclined screed was poured to drain water into the center and further drain it through a pipe.

For the construction of the steam room, debarked logs with a diameter of 35 cm were used. The logs were cut down using the "in the paw" technology - the protruding ends were cut off. The outer dimensions of the log house were 3 * 3 meters. Interior and exterior finishing is not provided. The walls in the steam room were not sheathed, the logs remained unpolished.

The bath floor is covered with a 5 cm planed board. Lining was taken as the final finishing of the ceiling. No insulation is provided in the dressing room. In the steam room there is a film vapor barrier on the boards, which is covered with a layer of river sand. The pitched roof was covered with galvanized corrugated board.
