If the pepper seedlings "live" in good soil and do not feel a lack of light and watering, they can not be fed additionally: they will grow like that. But if you want to achieve excellent results, it is still worth helping young plants.
The main thing here, as in any good deed, is to know when to stop and choose the right time.
The first feeding of seedlings is carried out two weeks after the pick. For a "meal" of ten liters, we need 40 g of superphosphate, which dissolves in water and is infused for a day. Then add 10 g of urea and ammonium nitrate, 30 g of potassium sulfate to the resulting solution.
Important! Fertilizer should only be applied to wet soil! And after feeding, the plants need to be sprayed with water to wash off the fertilizer residues from the leaves and stems.
The most proven remedy that almost all plants "like" is boric acid. For 10 liters of water, this growth promoter needs only 2 grams. I water the seedlings with this solution two weeks after the first feeding.
"Many thanks" future peppers will say for the "drink" of potassium-manganese (in the same proportion), copper sulphate or ordinary wood ash (200 g of ash for 10 liters of water). I dilute this product in a ratio of 1 to 5.
But even after planting the pepper on its "permanent residence", you should not let its growth take its course. I spend the first feeding of peppers on the ridge after 20 days of planting them. I mix 5 g of superphosphate and 10 g of urea in a bucket. After mixing thoroughly, let the solution stand for an hour and pour one liter under the root of each bush, trying not to get on the leaves.
IMPORTANT! During the period of flowering and tying the ovaries, potassium is needed - 1 teaspoon per bucket of water. The method and rate of watering is the same - one liter per "person".
The third time I "thank" my peppers for the first fruits. To do this, I dilute 2 tsp in 10 liters of water. l. superphosphate and potassium salt. I mix everything, insist for an hour and also - a liter for each bush. By the way, in addition to such a "compote" pepper also responds with a huge harvest to nettle tincture. Bon appetit to your pepper seedlings, and to you - good health and rich harvest!
