And she was right! To be honest, I have not heard about this method before. But when I saw caterpillars on my head of cabbage of soft green color, it was necessary to save the cabbage in any way.

This plant is loved not only by people, but also by various pests: cabbage fleas, caterpillars of scoops, cabbage moths, white women. This time I found gluttonous pests with brown and green stripes.

It’s hard to believe that these creatures will soon become beautiful butterflies. They crawled over my heads of cabbage and feasted on the leaves, making an openwork netting out of them.

On one head of cabbage we got to the stump itself. I decided to immediately follow my neighbor's advice:

  • In a bucket with a capacity of 10 liters, I squeezed out about 3 tablespoons of toothpaste with mint extract from a tube.
  • Stir the solution well until a cloudy suspension is obtained.
  • I filled the sprayer with the solution and immediately started processing.

I performed this procedure on a clear and calm day. The winged creatures took care of their offspring responsibly, laying more eggs. I processed each plant until the pests multiplied further and consumed the entire crop.

Apparently, the caterpillars didn't like this treat. After a while, they began to surrender from the cabbage patch. Having sniffed and swallowed food unpleasant for them, all the hairy individuals slowly but surely moved towards the flower garden, on the way to which, I had ornamental cabbage.

Ornamental cabbage in all its glory :)

She spread her ruffled leaves over a long distance and looked a dazzling beauty.

The method has proven to be very effective and harmless to vegetables. The result was not long in coming - the whole process took place before my eyes.

The toothpaste, possessing bactericidal properties and a specific smell, scared away pests. The caterpillars left the cabbage patch like rats on a sinking ship. #do it yourself
