The neighbor took pity on me and shared the secret of how to grow a carrot crop without rot, using 2 penny means

Once, when the weather was damp and cool all summer, little was left in the garden, let alone large harvests. But most of all I was struck by the carrot, which could not be used for food or storage.

When a summer resident with great experience saw fruits with many spots of black and brown color, covered in some places with a white bloom, its appearance resembling cotton wool, she immediately diagnosed: A fungal disease is to blame for the rot of carrots!

Root crops with loose flesh had a depressing appearance, exuded an unpleasant odor. In early summer, I noticed spots on the tops, but did not pay particular attention to this. The stains migrated to the fruit and led to a sad result.

A kind woman gave me half a bucket of carrots for cooking squash caviar. But why did she grow vegetables, but I do not? She told me her growing secret.

It turns out, it's all about ordinary boric acid and potassium permanganate, on the basis of which it prepares a solution, sprinkles it and water the plants. That's really really - live and learn. But I took her advice into service and since then I forgot about all sorts of carrot sores.

  • Boron - a valuable and essential nutrient for plants, regulates the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates, helps to obtain high-quality root vegetables of the correct shape, significantly improves their taste, increases size and prevents the appearance rot.
  • Potassium permanganate acts as an antiseptic: protects against pests and diseases - powdery mildew, "mosaic spot" and others.
  • In total boric acid and potassium permanganate affect the color intensity of the fruit, increase the carotene content, strengthen the plant's immunity and resistance to negative natural phenomena.

The recipe for a solution based on penny funds is quite simple:

In 1 bucket of almost hot water I dissolve one tsp. a spoonful of boric acid and 2-3 grams of potassium permanganate. Note: in 1 tsp. about 14-15 grams of potassium permanganate.

These drugs are always sold at the pharmacy and are very inexpensive. After dissolving them, I mix, cool the mixture and water the plant.

This amount of solution is sufficient for watering a bed 1 m wide and 4 m long. Foliar feeding of the solution will require 2 times less.

During the season, I carry out 3 such treatments:

  • The first is at the very beginning of the growing season, when the tops begin to grow.
  • The second during the formation of the root crop.
  • The third one 20 days before harvest.

I spend all feeding after watering in calm weather.

I was convinced that this product is a kind of reanimator for carrots - it grows with a flat and smooth surface, large size, good taste and intense color.
