The long-awaited spring is on the doorstep, but in addition to its generally recognized charms, vitamin deficiency and the associated feeling of anxiety of unreasonable unrest will inevitably await us.
Good old recipes for soothing herbal teas will help you quickly bounce back and balance your unstable pre-spring state of mind.
There are many of them, and each of our readers can find their favorite - depending on the composition of the herbal collection.
Summer smile
Children love this tea. In addition to the calming effect, due to the berries that make up the collection, this is a real vitamin explosion, so necessary at the beginning of March.
Mix in a teapot and brew with boiling water dried leaves and berries of wild strawberries, dried leaves and berries of raspberries, dried lemon balm, dried mountain mint, dried thyme, rose hips, rowan berries, blueberries - all in one teaspoon.
Strawberries strengthens the cardiovascular system very well, raspberries normalize blood pressure, lemon balm soothes, mint helps with insomnia. Thyme neutralizes fatigue, energizes. And berries - remind of summer, sun and good mood!
Chamomile and the Sun
Classic chamomile tea is not only a soothing but also a medicinal drink. And recently, while visiting, I spied a magic recipe chamomile tea with... citrus.
Put a tablespoon of dry chamomile in a small saucepan, fill it with two glasses of room temperature water and heat in a water bath for 15 minutes. When the resulting tea has cooled down a little, filter it through a strainer and squeeze into it two slices of orange and lemon. Add a spoonful of honey instead of sugar and... enjoy the divine drink!
Silence
This tea has a very strong sedative effect; cardiologists often recommend it to their patients: valerian roots and rhizomes - 50 g, peppermint leaves - 100 g, oregano herb - 30 g, hop cones - 50 g. Pour two tablespoons of the mixture with 500 ml of boiling water, leave for half an hour and strain.
It is worth taking this fragrant medicine for a quarter of a glass 2 times a day, preferably before meals.
Lavender Paradise
My favorite tea is a combination of lavender and ivan tea (fireweed). The amazing property of lavender to calm the nervous system, and Ivan tea - to normalize blood pressure and increase hemoglobin - make it an indispensable drink in difficult spring weekdays.
Such tea should be brewed in equal proportions. And you can enjoy it at any time of the day - it does not cause drowsiness at all: on the contrary, it invigorates and gives strength!
Tea "Good night"
Before going to bed, I really want to forget about all the problems and how to relax.
It's easy to do this by drinking pre-brewed tea made from oregano, hop cones and chamomile. I brew these herbs in a 2/1/1 ratio. The amazing taste of oregano will be revealed even more fully if you add a piece of cinnamon stick to the teapot, for an amateur - a bud of a fragrant clove or ginger.
A warm blanket, good music and loved ones around you will be a great addition to a glass of soothing tea. However, if there are such people, tea may not be needed... ツ
