And today I want to review my tool. On the agenda impact screwdriverMakita (not an advertisement, but just a review of a really useful thing), which went through the entire construction site with me (from foundation to roof), fell +100500 times, and also slipped off the roof onto the paving slabs :))) Not a single malfunction after falls noticed.
Deliberately refused from battery models, as they sit down at the most inopportune moment (besides, the price above), and there is a big plus from the wire: the shura can almost always be caught when he starts to fly down :-))).
Secondly, I buy for myself and use at home, stretched out an extension cord, slung it over my shoulder and does not interfere, why do I need a battery?

So let's move on to the model:
Impact driver / wrench MAKITA TD0101. Weighs 1 kg. Lightweight and comfortable: ergonomics and center of gravity relative to the handle are selected so that the hand does not get tired of holding the tool for a long time, he does not nod down and on an outstretched hand you can easily reach out and get into the screw cap (the hand does not shake or strain, which important). Sits in the hand like its continuation.
Despite its small dimensions and compactness, it is very strong: the gear ratios of the gearbox are selected so that the torque is (for a minute!) 100 Nm. Not every device can boast of this!!! Thanks to such a gearbox, the load on the engine is minimal, even after 100 screws in a row screwed in, the device does not get very hot.
Cartridge not clamping - and this is a big plus! Put in a bat, click - that's it! No need to twist, tighten or wash your hands. Like most devices - there is an electronic adjustment of the number of revolutions from the depth of pressing the trigger, and, accordingly, reverse.
Now for my favorite feature - kick!
This is what I love my screwdriver for. This function allows you to tear off any rusted fasteners: bolts, lapped self-tapping screws, etc., besides, thanks to the impact, you can drive a 100 mm turboprop. into wood without first drilling a hole. Thus, a self-tapping screw of any length and thickness comes in once or twice, without damaging the engine!
For understanding, the impact function of a screwdriver is different from that of a drill and has a different direction. For a hammer drill / drill, this is a longitudinal stroke, for a screwdriver, a stroke perpendicular to the direction of rotation. If we imagine the process, then these are frequent and strong blows to the edge of the key during tightening / unscrewing the bolt.
The only drawback, and maybe an advantage (as anyone) - powerimpact: the mechanism breaks the heads of low-quality self-tapping screws. The first few turns scrolls normally, and as soon as the blow is automatically connected, the cap from the "left" self-tapping screw flies away. You have to use only high-quality fasteners :-)))), well, accordingly, and overpay!
For me this is a minus, and God bless him! Dignity wins by a huge margin! On my own - I recommend the shock function, not necessarily from Makita, the market offers a lot of similar professional tools !!!
