Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of the "Build for Myself" channel!
I have an article that describes how to connect my house to gas and the cost of this procedure. (Just in case, linkHERE!)
Since then, I have remained on good terms with the local gas operator Gorgaz, who helped me with the connection, and this is what he recently told me, and even more so - proved ...
Whoever owns the site knows that the metal pipe of the gas pipeline has always been painted yellow, and until now, including myself, was a hostage of this bright yellow color. And it is necessary to paint the pipe, since it is the owner's responsibility to monitor it according to the law, since this is the duty of the citizen - take care of what is on the territory of his property (he is a consumer of services), moreover, he does not want to see on his site rusting pipe.
Safety rules for gas distribution systems PB 12-529-03, in force since 2003. - canceled back in 2013, but this did not receive much publicity.
I prove ("The status of the rules: not applicable"):
According to clause 2.3.9. these rules clearly indicated that the aboveground gas pipeline should be yellow, and the gas pipeline running along the facade of the building could be repainted to match the color of the building. Thus, since 2003 there was no need to paint the gas pipes running along the walls of the houses - yellow. But, outside the walls, only yellow remained at that time.
Here is an excerpt from the previous rules:
In industrial plants, yes! There is a special GOST for them. Aboveground gas pipelines should be painted yellow, as they should signal employees that there exactly the gas is located, because it is impossible to identify in a bundle of 10 pipes - which substance transported. By the way, here is a tablet that may be useful to you for general development:
GOST 14202-69. Industrial pipelines:
I repeat once again that the set of safety rules (PB 12-529-03) is no longer valid at the moment. This code was canceled in 2013. by order of Rostekhnadzor.
Today the set of rules is relevant SP 62.13330.2011 * (SNiP 42-01-2002), which does not at all regulate the color belonging to gas pipelines (the full text of this document is available on the network, here is the link: Actual JV - Gas distribution systems)
I did not touch the main highway - I left it yellow, and the pipes that go over the site were repainted in the color of the house:
In connection with the above information, now there is not a single document that would dictate to you and me what color to paint gas pipes within our land plots! Therefore, if there are reproaches from the gas services, one can argue.
Perhaps many will say: How so? It's gas! Is it dangerous! The pipes must be yellow!!! Friends, perhaps so, but on the other hand, you and your family know that this is a gas pipeline, why any other identification marks!
I would be glad if the article was useful to you!
