The thing is that now there is not enough money to pay the rent of either offices, or production facilities, or salary to employees. Only grocery stores and pharmacies remain afloat and with good profit now, in other words, organizations that have built a business on essential goods.
The construction market has clearly subsided, there are buyers, but they cannot buy, therefore the prospect of staying afloat is very doubtful. And this happens not only in the construction industry...
I still ride on winter tires at + 17 ° C outside the window (probably, like half of the country that did not have time to "change shoes"), since all tire boxes do not work, some are closed forever, the rest are closed until further notice authorities!

I am a little connected with the construction industry, and besides, the construction of my house is underway, which I did not freeze and is slowly leading with my own hands. You have to do something. Otherwise, in the mode of self-isolation, you can go crazy from "doing nothing".
Last week, at least common ideas visited the employees of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

So, before the oncoming long weekend - I managed to stock up on dimensional building material before all stores closed, but now we need screws, then some other trifle, you won't take everything into account! And I'm still stumped, there's nowhere to buy ...
Small retail closed, some before "better times", and some already and finally. Large construction stores are getting out of this situation thanks to online orders and free shipping.
Many switch to domestic goods and strongly advise the Russian manufacturer, arguing that this product will always be in stock with the ability to buy in addition, if not enough. Imported goods are offered by a minority.
Many small shops and stalls sell "from the back door" or call for their own.
From large stores, in which I always take material, I often receive calls and SMS informing about profitable offers - now they provide free delivery of goods from purchases above 3,000 - 5,000 rubles. Having been born, even from the purchase of 50,000+ rubles there was no free delivery, and now it is 5,000 rubles. - please say the address!!! Now it turned out to be profitable for them, to deliver a pallet of bricks with a manipulator for 40 km. from the warehouse to my house - is free!
Such a time that everyone is trying to snatch any piece of bread, even if the delta in a deal between wholesale and retail is a few rubles - money after all. I don’t know how long this will continue, but one thing is clear that small and medium-sized businesses are under threat and now they are fighting as best they can, and only budget organizations are doing well.
