Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of my channel!

Now I'm making a blind area for the house, because there is slush on the nose and you need to drain water from the foundation. The paving slabs will be used as a coating, so I am installing a curb for which I bought 3 bags of M500 cement.

For a very long time I wore the idea that it is necessary to check the honesty of the cement manufacturer, namely, packaged bags of 50 kg. and now it turned out to be realized.

I always guessed that they were making a fool at the packaging, but how much? I weigh 50 kg. cement and 25 kg. gypsum: summary

Leaving the store, I remembered that a piece of the wall (7 sq.m.) had to be plastered up in the shed and the socket boxes had to be installed, so I immediately grabbed plaster in the amount of 4 bags. This means that we will check today two bulk materials:

1. Alabaster (Gypsum). The product of one of the largest gypsum factories, one of the leaders of gypsum in the building materials market. Represented throughout Russia.

2. Cement. Our popular cement manufacturer, the plant is located in one of the settlements of the Rostov region.

So, I take an ordinary home scale with a measurement accuracy of 100 grams. and a sheet of plywood to provide a level surface on the ground. I didn't want to drag dusty bags into the house :-)))

I turn on the scales:

The first will be the famous plaster cast. Weight according to packaging 25 kg.

We weigh:

Excellent!

Fine... for the manufacturer, but not for me. It would be better if I chose another option in the store. Actual weight was 23,4kg.

In order not to overload the article with photos, I will give the weighing values for each of the 4 bags:

1. 23.4 kg. (photo above)

2. 23.3 kg.

3. 23.5 kg.

4. 23.4 kg.

On each bag they make a fool of 1.6KG. - the plant is a fat minus for the fact that it deceives people for whole 1.6 kg., and this, for a minute - 6,5%, isn't it too much? Maybe there was a problem with the packaging equipment and this is a manufacturing defect? Hopefully ...

Now, cement. Bag weight according to packing - 50 kg.

While putting the bag down, the scales turned off))). I turn on, weigh:

To be honest, the result pleased me, the deviation is 0.7 kg. or 1.4%.

Actual weight of each of the three bags:

1. 49.3 kg. (photo above)

2. 49.4 kg.

3. 49.4 kg.

Friends, well, that's very interesting - the actual weight is always less than on the package, this is definitely done on purpose. There is no such thing that there was at least 100 g. or 200 g. more, you must definitely do the smaller side.

Of course, all manufacturers provide for an error in packaging, but this error is presented as plus / minus, but everywhere in fact only "minus" and never "a plus".

I hope you found it interesting! Thanks!
