Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of my channel!

For a very long time I was hatching the idea to make my "nest" original, and now this idea is slowly starting to come true. Thank you very much to my wife, who supported me in time, and we can say that we mutually turned the "brick box at home" into a warm and cozy interior.

In the process of finishing, we left 2/3 of the area of all internal walls without plaster, thereby leaving bare brick in the interior. In addition, our ceilings are made with open load-bearing wooden beams, which very clearly sets accents in the interior and emphasizes the atmosphere of antiquity.

Of course, whoever came to us at the intermediate stages of construction and finishing, all twisted their fingers at their temples with questions: - what will happen here? Why wasn't the walls plastered? What is this chicken coop? etc.

The next photo is our future barn. "Sarai" - in the opinion of relatives and friends :-))) But, deep down, we know that everything will be OK, just a little more marafet remains.

After the plasterer finished his work and left, I set about scrubbing my remaining brick walls with a wire brush and getting fancy with wiring inside the cement joints.

After I finished the rough work, our whole family covered the brick with white latex paint for a week.

Here is where my daughter draws emoticons :-)))

"It's like making a shed instead of a residential building" - my best friend tried to finish me off. I answered: "wait a minute... In a month you will see that you were wrong... "

The next photo shows the painting process:

In reality, leaving a brick in the interior has a lot of advantages: one of the main - you save time: no plaster, no putty, no wallpaper, no finishing drag that lasts several weeks.

Second - a lot of money is not spent on all of the above.

And third: brick in a living space is an amazing solution that fits any interior. In addition, it is a beauty and a cozy atmosphere. Don't believe me? See what happened in the end when we installed the doors and I finished the stairs:

The texture of natural brick does its job. The living room with wooden beams looks like this:

In fact, there is nothing fancy here. You just need to clean the brick from the blunders of the masonry mortar, cover it with a primer and the next day you can paint it in color, or you can also use a colorless varnish. As they say - the taste and color!

The whole house has a total area of 134 sq.m. I bought 6 buckets of paint, 10 liters each. + primer. As a result, I got no more than 9,000 rubles for the whole house.

Sometimes it is useful not to listen at all to people who impose their vision and attitude to the situation in YOUR home. Whoever you are. Always follow your dreams and don't be afraid to experiment. After all, we live once :-)))
