Good afternoon, dear guests and subscribers of the "Build for myself" channel!
I finished the interior decoration and I can't wait to move to a new house. The final touches remain: to hang chandeliers, lamps, curtains, buy furniture, some household appliances and a kitchen. Actually, my wife and I escaped to the IKEA store at the weekend to buy the necessary things.
The store is located on the other side of the city, it takes about an hour by car. Have arrived. We go to the shopping center, and the queue in front of the entrance to IKEA, so as not to lie, is about 100 meters. Do not return home empty-handed :-(
We stood waiting for about an hour and only then got to the store.
At the entrance - a poster with the following content: "Entrance to the store is limited to 1336 people." and below the postscript - at the rate of 8 sq.m. per visitor. Which is, in principle, true and corresponds to the distance from each other - 1.5 m.
For this, sticker markers are glued on the floor at a distance of 1.5 m.
The number of visitors is controlled by the guards and every two minutes they talk to each other on the radio. How many people were released at the checkout, so many are allowed into the territory.
The security officers explained that we still went well, since the excitement had not yet come and having arrived in the late afternoon - you can stand in line for more than 2 hours. It was recommended to monitor the store load through the website before the next visit.
A link has recently appeared on the IKEA website:
The fact is that such a restriction was introduced only a few days ago, since we were already here in early August and did not impose such conditions on the entrance, but here you have to wait for your turn. Apparently the top decided that people relaxed. And the social situation is actually already boring, few comply with the requirements and wear masks.
They begin to strangle public places again. The security guards of the shopping center and retail premises inside it do not allow anyone to enter any store without a mask, it seems that the authorities have shifted control onto the shoulders of retail outlets.
We live in g. Rostov-on-Don and recently there have been massive raids, not only personnel at retail facilities are fined. trade, but also citizens-buyers for non-compliance with the requirements of the mask regime and distancing in public places.
We were warned at work, they say, if we see any employee without a mask - the head of the department will be reprimanded, and the employee will be fired in one day.
In how everyone is tuned!
And how long it will last is unknown ...
Thank you for attention! Good luck, kindness and be healthy!
