I think there is no person in our country who would never taste "dumplings". Very tasty, and most importantly quick to prepare, well, just an ideal dish when you are very hungry, and you don't have time to stand at the stove for a long time!
So it happened with us, we spent the whole day cleaning the local area, my wife was cleaning, and I I pruned the trees and spent the afternoon fiddling with the plumbing, preparing, so to speak, - for winter.
Of course, by the evening - everyone is already hungry, tired. I jumped into the car and drove to the first frozen convenience store and came across a package of black dumplings!
I usually do not take such purchased products, but here curiosity prevailed. And then the question arose, why black?
We look at the composition:
As a black dye - vegetable charcoal, we can say that "activated carbon". Products from the Miratorg company (not advertising).
Somehow unusual and funny! Will this be my family. I took the pack for a test, but also grabbed the usual "light" ones just in case.
Boiled water, poured it into a saucepan. It was necessary to stir a little, as the water immediately turned black. Miracles!
In fact, these dumplings are completely different from our primordially Russian dish. Unnatural. It's like you're cooking prunes.
It tastes like ordinary boiled products, fresh dough, no different from the product we are used to. But the view is terrible. I didn't get any pleasure from food.
The daughter, when she saw the meat, flatly refused to eat, asked to cook "normal" dumplings. It's good that I took a pack of "light" ones on the market ...
My wife poured everything back into my plate, got up and went to cook normal dumplings for herself and for the children. Made a surprise, called :-))) But they laughed!
The son did everything for a sweet soul!

Personal opinion is that such dumplings are an amateur product. In fact, they are painted in a deep black color, as if they were burnt in a fire. I am glad that there is not a single gram of chemistry in the composition, otherwise I would not have bought ...
Apart from the color, there is nothing unusual about them!
