Water filtration: correcting mistakes

I was wrong when I thought my reverse osmosis filter was broken. Everything turned out to be much simpler and I myself was to blame for the "breakdown".

I recently told that he was forced to buy a filter jug due to the fact that the Aquaphor Morion system stopped working.

Four years ago I reviewed this system (https://ammo1.livejournal.com/665612.html) and himself wrote that the cartridges need to be changed regularly (K5 pre-filter every three months, deep filter K2 cleaning every six months, a final cleaning and mineralization filter K7M once a year, a K50 membrane every 1.5-2 of the year).

As usual, my hands did not get there, and in four years I only changed two cartridges K2 and K5 once in December 2017. The membrane did not break, as I assumed, but clogged (and its term has already expired twice), and filters K2 and K5 apparently they were clogged so much that the valve simply stopped working and the system stopped work.

In general, it turned out that it was just necessary to change all four cartridges (I bought them for 2770 rubles) and everything worked. As for the tank, I was also vainly afraid - water gets there after the membrane, through which no organic matter seeps, so the tank cannot silt.

Replacing cartridges is tricky: instead of a membrane, a plug is placed (it turns out that it lies under the lid filter, and when I did the review, I did not notice it), K2 and K5 first change places, then they are put on their places.

In this filter, I really miss a separate tap with water after osmosis without mineralization for filling the air humidifier and I do not give up hope to attach it.

I'm trying to figure out how the filter works. Water from the water supply system is supplied to the pre-filter K5, then to K2, then to the membrane.

I don't really understand how elements 1, 2 and 3 work. "3" is probably a check valve, "1" is probably a pressure valve that closes when the tank is full. What does "2" do not understand. If I understood correctly, the water passes through the K7M post-filter twice - first it is poured into the tank (already mineralized), then back from the tank to the exit. If this is the case, the faucet cannot be made, since the water in the tank has already passed mineralization (why is this, if so, it is not clear).
Connoisseurs, please tell us how it works.

upd.: Explanation from Andrey Karasev: "Detail 1 is called a shut-off valve
https://kwatro.ru/product/af71m-500-zapornyy-klapan-v-sbore-op05-morion/. It shuts off the water supply to the filter after closing the tap and filling the tank. Its middle pipe is control, when the pressure in it rises, the valve closes.
Part 2 - check valve block
https://kwatro.ru/product/af114-400-op05-blok-obratnykh-klapanov-v-sbore-morion-s-mineralizatorom-/. It acts as a check valve at the outlet of the diaphragm (to protect it against back pressure from the tank side) and a connecting element.
Detail 3 - check valve (to maintain pressure in the hydroautomatics unit when the clean water tap is closed). The hydroautomatic unit itself - the part on the left with 6 outputs, controls the operation of the water-water tank.

In this scheme, the water actually passes through the K7M 2 times. This was done to make the mineralizer work more efficiently. With an empty tank and a closed tap of clean water, water enters the tank through the K7M at a low speed equal to the membrane capacity. The lower the speed, the better the mineralizer works. Then, after filling the tank and opening the tap, the water flows out of the tank through the K7M again (in the opposite direction), though already on higher speed, equal to the speed of pouring out of the tank, which is less effective, but some small addition of mineralization is still there is. The greatest effect is obtained when a long time passes between filling the tank and opening the tap, and the volume small amount of water poured (not exceeding the volume of the K7M cartridge, popularly called the effect of the first glasses). Then a portion of stagnant well-mineralized water is drained from the volume of the mineralizer (ppm can reach 100), while just on a slow flow ppm is about 20-30, and on a fast flow less.

A tap for non-mineralized water can be made, but then you will have to abandon double mineralization (it will remain only mineralization at high speed, but the effect of the first glass will still be) and re-commute a little tube.
