The world's first wireless TV

  • Dec 11, 2020

Recently, the world's first OLED TV was presented, the screen of which exists completely independently from the main unit.

The 65-inch screen is less than three millimeters thick and can be hung on the wall like a painting.

At the bottom is the base unit with electronics, all connections and a soundbar.

The distance from the screen to the base unit should not exceed 35 centimeters. The energy to power the screen is transmitted through the air in the same way as in wireless chargers for phones. The picture is transmitted over the wireless interface.

The screen is flexible and can be rolled up to carry.

The revolutionary TV has already won numerous awards from international exhibitions. In the future, it is planned to manufacture such TVs with screens from 32 to 106 inches and increase the maximum distance from the wireless screen to the base unit.

:)

Of course, miracles do not happen and it was an April Fool's joke. This amount of energy is not yet transmitted through the air - the screen is connected to the main unit with a loop that can be hidden in the wall.

But there is some truth in every joke: OLED TVs with a separate thin flexible screen do exist.
