My computer chair is seven years old. During this time, it lost both armrests (they were plastic and broke off), but recently the chair began to drop by itself and it became impossible to use it. I decided not to bother with replacing the gas cartridge, but just buy a new chair. I chose a more or less similar College CLG-419 MXH chair on Ozone for 5400 rubles, ordered it, brought it, assembled it, sat down. And there was an epic failure. :)
The new chair has almost the same problems with the gas cartridge as the old one: you sit on it, sit, and suddenly "jump" and the chair sank a few centimeters, after a while "jump" and sank still. It may not go down for an hour, or it may start jumping down in five minutes.
I learned what to do in this situation. It turned out that the only way for such a case for Ozon is to return. And you can return it either to the pick-up point (the nearest one is at a nearby metro station) or you need to order something else to have delivery. There is no separate delivery for return (more precisely, it happens with Premium status for 349 rubles per month).
The situation is complicated by the fact that the assembled chair can no longer be disassembled (more precisely, you can remove armrests, backrest and seat, but to tear the gas cartridge out of the crosspiece without prejudice to the appearance will work).
Another drawback of this chair is the stupid "sleeves" on the metal armrests. They are made so that the hands are not cold from the metal. So they are made of mesh fabric, which, as it turned out, is woven from white threads covered with black plastic. During a week of operation, this black plastic began to wear off and white "bald spots" appeared on the "sleeves".
I wanted to order some other chair with delivery on Ozone and send back an unsuccessful one on the same delivery chair, but I couldn't choose anything decent, but in Onlinetrade I saw Chairman 279 JP15-2 chair for 4410 rubles. Its minus is a plastic crosspiece, a big plus for me is a high seat rise of 490-620 mm.
I almost ordered, and then I found out that on the same Ozone it is not only there, but also cheaper - 4130 rubles minus 5% for Ozoncard (why it was not in the general search for chairs, science is not known :).
The main thing for me now is not to be left with two chairs. :)
