Masks have finally appeared in the Fix Price chain of stores, but most likely you will not want to buy them.
I went to FixPrice today to see if the promised masks appeared (I saw the news many times in the Yandex news that the network ordered a huge batch of masks at several factories).
At every checkout there is an announcement that more than three packs of masks are not being sold.
And here are the same masks. But they cost 149 rubles for five pieces, four times more than before the epidemic.
There are even cheaper masks. 50 rubles for 10 pieces. But these are not really masks, I'll show you why below.
There is also such a roll of "disposable individual barrier napkins" I forgot to look at the price.
Polyethylene gloves are sold for 50 rubles for 10 pairs (I bought similar ones at the beginning of this only fifteen times cheaper).

Out of curiosity, I bought masks for 50 rubles. More precisely, "A set of semi-finished products for self-assembly of the mask."
The set contains 10 sheets of nonwoven material, very similar to Spunbond, which is used to cover plants, and 10 ribbons (not elastic bands, but wide ribbons). There are no fasteners or a rigid bar for attaching to the nose.
The material is very, very thin and also has a weak chemical odor.
I have great doubts that this can even be used as a mask. And I very much doubt that this material can be used to breathe through it.
And there are still no masks in pharmacies ...
