Today I went down the subway for the first time in 48 days. It was not so easy to get there.
I urgently needed to go to the other end of Moscow (I'll tell you why tomorrow). I issued a pass and after an hour and a half tried to enter the metro. But nothing happened, the turnstile wrote on its screen "prohibited". It turned out that the pass data did not have time to be loaded into the metro system, it takes up to five hours.
After a while, the pass still worked.
Mostly everyone is wearing masks and gloves. There were 28 people in the carriage in which I went there. Four of them were traveling with masks lowered around their necks, 7 people were without gloves.
It is unusual to see an absolutely empty Kitay-Gorod station, which is usually full of people.
I found cotton gloves in the bins and it is more or less comfortable to ride in them. I can imagine how hard it is for those who ride in rubber or nitrile.
Everyone follows the checkered seating arrangement. Only those who ride together sit nearby.
It used to be a routine ride on the subway, but now it's an adventure. Hopefully next time I'll go earlier than 48 days. :)
