Last year, there were a lot of people on the streets of Moscow on electric scooters and the vast majority of them rode the Xiaomi Mijia Electric Scooter M365. The updated version is called Xiaomi MIJIA Electric Scooter 1S and looks almost the same.

The M365 did not have a display - only four white LEDs. The main difference between 1S is an LED display showing speed, mode, battery charge

In fact, the 1S has a display board from Xiaomi Electric Scooter Pro. Some M365 owners have installed such displays on their own, buying them on Aliexpress. Pay costs $ 16.28 along with a new frame.

The second change is a call from the same Pro. The third, very small, trim on the gas trigger is gray, not red.

No other differences between 1S and M365 have been found yet.

The technical parameters are exactly the same:

Maximum speed: 25 km / h;
Maximum mileage (75 kg, flat road, no wind, 15 km / h): 30 km;
Maximum rider weight: 100 kg;
Motor rated power: 250 W, maximum power 500 W;
Maximum controller current: 19A;
Maximum angle of rise: 14%;

Battery: 280 Wh (36V 7.8Ah), 30 cells 18650 2600 mAh;
Charger: 42V 1.7A, full charge about 5 hours;
Wheels: 8.5 inches, chamber pneumatic tires;
Shock absorption: front and rear;
Brakes: disc brake, electronic brake with E-ABS;
Equipment: LED headlight, display, footrest, Zhilian Mijia mobile app via Bluetooth;
Modes: ECO up to 15 km / h, D up to 20 km / h, S up to 25 km / h;
Moisture protection: IP54
Dimensions: 1080x1140x430 mm;
Weight: 12.5 kg.

Just like the M365, the 1S is available in black and white. In China, the new model costs 1999 yuan (~ $ 320 or 20,900 rubles). This is exactly the same as the M365 cost. I would like to hope that our price for 1S will be the same as for M365.

It is hardly possible to call Xiaomi MIJIA Electric Scooter 1S a new model, it is just an updated version.
But at the same price, 1S is certainly better - the display with the speed display is convenient.

P.S. And I'm still waiting for someone to release an electric scooter with similar characteristics, but weighing less than 10 kg. I'm sure it's technically possible.
