Itead's Sonoff devices were among the first really cheap smart home devices. The company recently released a simple thing that no one had thought of doing before.

Two years ago, I talked about the S20 Smart Socket and other Sonoff devices (ammo1.livejournal.com/901449.html).

Since then, several new devices have appeared, operating not only from the mains, but also from low voltage 5-24 V, but all low-voltage devices were produced in the form of boards without enclosures. SONOFF Micro - the first Sonoff low-voltage device in an enclosure.

Of course, to remotely turn on a five-volt load, you can also use a regular S20 socket, connected to it is "charging" with a USB output, but in some cases it will be more convenient to use a smart USB socket, besides, it is twice cheaper.

As with other Sonoff devices, the USB socket has built-in timers that work without the Internet.

And also Sonoff has finally started to be supported by Yandex Alice (the application that controls Sonoff devices is called eWelink).
