Have you turned off your analog TV? No again!

  • Dec 11, 2020

Every six months I scan the Moscow air. Today, January 20, one meter analog channel and five decimeter channels are still broadcasting.

On April 15, 2019, analogue television broadcasting was to be turned off in Russia. Nine months have passed, but for some reason analogue television broadcasting continues in Moscow.

The only working meter channel 175 MHz broadcasts "Match! A country".

"Che", "Disney", "TNT", "Yu" and "Super!" Broadcast on five analogue decimeter channels.

There are now 30 digital channels plus three radio channels. Another channel has just a black picture.

The UltraHD channel has appeared again, but now there are cubes jumping. Perhaps at another time, something meaningful is transmitted through it.

I don’t understand what is the point in the fact that six, far from basic, channels continue to broadcast on analog air. They would have turned them off a long time ago, and would not waste electricity, and would not clog the air.
