The corrugation is gray, the corrugation is black, but what about green?

As you know, there are two types of plastic corrugated pipes for cable laying on sale - gray PVC and black or orange HDPE. Each of them has its own disadvantages.

The gray corrugation is good for everyone - it does not burn, it is cheap, and it looks neutral. Alas, it cannot be laid outdoors, as PVC decomposes under the influence of UV radiation from the sun.

The black corrugation is not afraid of ultraviolet radiation, but it burns well, and it can also heat up from the sun because of its black color (and the wire passing inside will also heat up). The orange corrugation does not heat up from the sun, but it does not look very aesthetically pleasing and expensive.

But I just thought. And how will the gray corrugation behave on the street if it is painted? For example, from a spray can in green? :)

In theory, the paint should protect the plastic from ultraviolet radiation and the corrugation should not be destroyed.

You can also try to paint with a cheap water emulsion.

Another idea (maybe everyone is doing this, but I don't know): with an air broach, you can tighten the supporting cable inside the corrugation along with the cable, and then there will be just a corrugation hanging in the air outside.

It will be necessary to try to stretch a cable in gray dyed corrugation from the house to the barn in the country house and see how long it will live in this form.
