The design is simple: 36 plastic discs with notches rotate slowly in the water tank, to which water droplets "stick".
A fan drives air through these discs.

Yes, the humidifier is a smart device and can be connected to Wi-Fi (but not required). When added to the MI Home app, you can control the humidifier, set timers, view the values of air humidity, temperature and water remaining.
There is one caveat - I bought the European version of the humidifier and to add it to Mi Home you need to set the country "Germany" (if you install "Russia" or "China" the humidifier will not connect, if you install "Belarus" it will not show humidity).
At first speed, the humidifier is quiet, but not silent.
In winter, they wanted up to $ 120 for this humidifier, but now I bought it for $ 84.5 with delivery from Russia (the courier brought it three days after the order). In Russian stores, such air washers are at least twice as expensive.
